The Tahitian Islands are no doubt one of the best places to travel in the world, especially if you’re on board a sophisticated cruise ship like the Windstar Wind Spirit. Can you imagine seeing the colorful islands from a distance, while sailing on waters that hold the most beautiful shade of blue? Feasting your eyes on this panoramic view is just one of the few things you get to enjoy when you tour Tahiti with the Windstar Wind Spirit. If you’re planning to sail to Tahiti via the Windstar Wind Spirit, here’s what’s in store for you: Experience top-notch service. The cruise line’s impeccable service is always one of the top things that people rave about. Aside from making sure that the staff gives nothing but personalized service, Windstar Wind Spirit also guarantees excellent customer service by keeping their crew-to-passenger ratio in check. Most of the guests appreciate how the friendly crew members were able to strike a perfect balance between a bend-over-backwards service -- which some people find quite bothersome -- and a laid-back service. If you don’t want to take our word for it, I challenge you to go ahead and search for these reviews yourself! Delight your taste buds with great food. Although the bar for excellent food is not set very high in all-inclusive trips, you’ll find that each meal that you feast on while on board this trip will outdo the one you had before it. The buffet has a wide selection of dishes to choose from. If fact, the selection is so wide that even people with restrictive diets won’t have a hard putting sumptuous food on their plate. Another thing that sets the dining experience at Windstar Wind Spirit apart is that there is a high chance for you to get a taste of what the French Polynesian waters have to offer. We’re not talking about fish from the freezer, but ones that were caught on that same day! How good can your meals get? At first, you would think that a week is not enough to explore Tahiti. Windstar Wind Spirit’s itinerary however, guarantees that you make the most out of your experience in the island. The package lets you discover what paradise actually looks like with a mini-trip to Moorea, explore the coral gardens that lie underneath the Tahitian waters, enjoy a private Windstar Wind Spirit beach party, take part in local festivities, and a lot more. You do know that actually experiencing this luxurious getaway is so much better than reading all about it, right? Go give yourself a treat and book your Tahitian escape with Windstar Wind Spirit now!

Most people put Bora Bora on their bucket list for the same reason: the island’s beauty. If you’re one of them, then I have one piece of advice for you when you visit the islet for the first time. Make sure to choose a resort that will give justice to what Bora Bora has to offer. For me, Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa is one of these. First, the hotel does not downplay, but rather highlights the exquisiteness of the islet. You’ll never miss the majestic view of Mount Otemanu, which is at its best at the Intercontinental. You can see it from an angle where the mountain is most symmetrical, making you appreciate nature’s perfection even more. Another feature that makes the hotel marvelous is the shallow lagoon that’s just perfect for a laid-back swim. The upside of the lagoon being shallow is that you don’t have to worry about speeding jet skis or other guests doing rough water sports. It’s the perfect spot for you to be Zen. Second, even the hotel’s amenities pay homage to Bora-Bora’s attractions. Their spa offers seawater therapy. Does a vacation sound incomplete to you without a massage? Then you should definitely get one at the Thalasso! They claim that their treatments offer a “relaxing and rebalancing experience” that incorporates Polynesian techniques. Other than the spa, you can also spend some downtime sipping on your favorite cocktail at the resort’s infinity pool. With the right angle, it gives the illusion that the pool is one with the crystalline waters of French Polynesia. Third is the Villas. For me, what totally seals the deal is the type of accommodation that Intercontinental Bora Bora offers. Here, you will fully experience what it’s really like to be on a luxury escape with the resort’s overwater villas. It’s one of those accommodations where even if you stay in the entire day, you won’t feel like the day went to waste. After all, there is an abundance of great views everywhere you go within your villa. The wall facing the lagoon has a large window that will not just brighten up the room—it will also give you a direct view of the aquamarine water. Feeling like having a warm bath? No problem! The bathtub rests by the window, in a way that the view of the crystalline water from outside can add a calming effect to your bath. So, there you have it. These are my favorite things about Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa. If you were to visit this resort in the future and experience the same luxurious retreat that we did, which item from this list do you think you’ll like best?

After all, there is nothing more romantic than starting a new life as as a married couple with a milestone. A good example of an exotic destination is Tahiti, and it is one of the go-to destinations not just for newlyweds but for couples in general because of its romantic aura. But then again, what is it about Tahiti that makes thousands of honeymooners flock to it every year for a romantic getaway? Here’s what we think…
Do you agree the Tahiti is one of the best honeymoon destinations? I hope that I've convinced you with these reasons! Dominique Barba
