Nobody needs or is more deserving of a relaxing week in paradise than the parents of young children.  We all love our little ones but let’s face it, they come with a lot of work!  What if I told you there is a place you can go with your family that has a great mix of family AND adult time, even with a three-year-old?

Most kids clubs at other family resorts starts at age 4.  The Explorer’s club is a fully supervised children’s program with different daily programs based on science, nature and exploration and features sandcastle competitions, arts and crafts, movies on the beach, playground, etc.  Children do need to be potty trained.  So, why your child is happily entertained, you can get that much needed lounge time on the beach, with a fancy beverage if you so choose.  Outside of the supervised Explorer’s Club, babysitting is available for an additional fee.  You are in charge of how much time you spend together or apart. 

Another feature of Dreams La Romana that targets parents with young kids is their family suite.  If you are lucky enough to snag one of these (only 8 of them on property) your vacation can be even more relaxing.  The family suites are basically two connecting bedrooms with a king bed on one side and 2 double beds on the other.  Parents can put their little ones to sleep in a quiet dark room so their blissful little dreams can begin.   But unlike a standard hotel room where parents would have to creep around in the dark before THEIR bed time, they are free to leave the lights on, watch tv, order room service, etc.  EVERYONE gets a good night sleep.  Because really, even in paradise, it’s going to be hard to enjoy it if you are sleep deprived.  Children who get enough sleep will enjoy their day more as well. 

Dreams La Romana is also great for group family travel.  The Explorer’s Club ranges in age from 3-12, so all the cousins can be in the same group enjoying their time together.  The next age group up is the ‘Core Zone’ for teens and is for ages 13-17.
